Roofing Gallery in Reston, VA

Three bids all said architectural shingle and the numbers were miles apart. These were the only people who showed us what the code actually requires next to what they were putting on, with a price on each line. We dropped two items and still ended up with the better roof.

They put a pitch gauge on the breezeway roof and told us shingles were not allowed on it at that slope, which the previous two contractors had quoted without mentioning. Membrane went on instead. It has been through two winters and stayed dry.

Called them about a leak expecting to be sold a roof. Got a new pipe boot, a kick-out flashing where there had never been one, and a written note saying we had roughly seven years left. That was two years ago and the estimate looks about right.

Our townhouse shares a roof plane with next door and every other company glossed over it. These guys walked us through exactly where their work would stop and why, before anybody signed anything. The crew was tidy and the deck photos came through the same evening.
